A Prophet has spoken?

Jesus is to appear in many places with Benny Hinn

In Acts 1 as Jesus ascended while the apostles watched him being received up to the clouds. Two men (angels) said "Why do you men of Galilee stand gazing up into heaven. This same Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in like manner as you saw him go into heaven."

The Lord Jesus warned in Mt.24:23: "Then if anyone says to YOU, look here is the Christ! or 'There! Do not believe them."

Mt. 24:24-26: "For false Christ's and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. "See, I have told you beforehand. "Therefore if they say to you, 'Look, He is in the desert!' do not go out; or 'Look, He is in the inner rooms!' do not believe it."

Jesus made it absolutely clear he would come the same way he left and that he will get the Church collectively. There should be no debate on this matter.

Benny Hinn disagrees and had stated on TBN Mar.29, 2000

"Ladies and gentleman, Jesus is shaking the world! Now something else is happening that is to me awesome! Absolutely awesome! The Lord is physically appearing in the Muslim world. I'm telling you, Paul, I am hearing it now more and more and more. Since we preachers cannot go there, Jesus is - just going there Himself. Since we preachers are not permitted to go in, He is just showing up Himself. You know the Scriptures says clearly that the Lord did appear, did He not? Ah for forty days, isn't that right? And the Scriptures says he, he, he even, he even appeared to Paul…. He's doing the same thing today in the Muslim world. He's appearing, hear this, He is appearing to Muslims, saying I am Jesus of Nazareth! And they're coming to know the Lord!" (TBN, Praise the Lord Mar.29, 2000)

While a vision is possible and is Biblical, Hinn is claiming a physical appearance. You're either going to believe Hinn and disbelieve Jesus or you believe Jesus and disbelieve Benny Hinn!

"I know deep in my soul something supernatural is going to happen in Nairobi Kenya ... Paul and Jan are coming to Nairobi with me, but Paul we may very well come back with footage of Jesus appearing on the platform (Crouch flinched in good approval). You know that the Lord appeared in Romania recently and there's a video of it, where the Lord appeared in there back of a church and you see him on video walking down the aisle, Yea. Paul do you remember when I came on TBN years ago I showed you a clip of the lord appearing in our church in Orlando on the balcony on the wall. Yea you remember that. Paul Crouch "yea very well I saw it." Hinn "that was eighty, something eighty sixty, whatever. You know I always wondered why the lord, why did he do that , you know why now I look back that was the beginning of the greatest move of God in our church. Because 83, 84, 85 were horrible years for me horrible years. "86 the blessings of God began but they began with this manifestation of the Lords face on the balcony that stayed for 8 weeks, 8 solid weeks. The Lord has done this in the past but he 's about to do it again, now here this I'm prophesying this Jesus Christ the Son of God is about to appear physically in some Church's and some meetings and to many of his people. For one reason to tell you he's about to show up. To wake up, Jesus is coming saints."

Do we need Jesus to show up physically to tell us he's about to show up? When he told us in his word the signs that would occur, this happens to be one of them that he warns of. This sign is of a false prophet! Yes Jesus is coming, but not the way Hinn says. Why would someone break there own word (which is to be absolutely true) and come back to tell you that they are coming back? Not only does this not make sense logically,  Biblically it is ABSOLUTELY FALSE!

Why would anyone say such a thing? Some of the influence can be attributed to Ruth Heflin. Who reportedly told Hinn she heard an audible word from God about Jesus, himself, appearing on stage with Hinn (Heflin is  known by many for the gold manifestations). Lets look at what Hinn is actually saying. Jesus appeared, (Hinn describes it four years before as a face appearing in the wall) and supernatural things begin to happen. This is not much different than Jesus' face appearing in spaghetti, in tree trunks, cookies or on windows. This is what Catholics go after, images. This proves Hinn still has Catholic roots involved in mysticism. This is exactly what Jesus warned when he said don't believe them."

A Prophetess has spoken

From Ruth Heflin (who Hinn states is a prophetess)-  "She just sent me a word through my wife and said the Lord spoke to her audibly and said that He is going to appear physically in one of our crusades in the next few months. "the Lord spoke to her audibly and said, 'Tell Benny I'm going to appear physically on the platform in his meetings.' Lord, do it in Phoenix Arizona in the name of Jesus! And in Kenya too, Lord, please, Lord, in fact, do it in every crusade."    ( March 29th, 2000)

Ruth Heflin ( a prophetess) said, "the Lord spoke to her recently, and she called my wife and told her to tell me, that Jesus said to her, that He will appear physically on the platform in one of our crusades. She said, 'Tell Benny, that the Lord told me that He is going to appear physically appear physically on the platform, and the crowds will see Him, on the platform." Dear God my hair is standing up!" It may very well happen in Nashville! ... she said thousands will see the Lord...  on the platform!" (B. Hinn, April 20th, 2000)

"...We are about to see the greatest manifestations of God's presence ever! A prophetess named Ruth Heflin sent me a word recently and told me to get ready, to see, physical manifestations of Christ on the platforms in our crusades, that people will have visions of the Lord in the meetings. Those things have happened in the past, I know. In a Thailagua meeting one time in Africa, the Lord appeared to a - to the whole crowd! It is about to begin happening, I know it too! Expect it  to happen also, in your own home!" ( May 2nd, 2000)

Who is Ruth Heflin? She is the one who introduced the gold dust out of the hair scam with Machado. she has been hyping the church for many years. (she died before she would see Jesus appear with Hinn, but she did see Jesus herself!)

Hinn claims to be an apostle and a prophet. If so, who is he an apostle of?

Where is this all headed? Consider this report from the Tara Center on the New Age Christ Maitreya, who does signs and wonders through his disciples." On June 11, 1988, Maitreya materialized suddenly `out of the blue' at a Christian prayer meeting in Nairobi, Kenya. Thousands attending instantly recognized Him as the Christ. He spoke to them in their own language and many reported being cured of major illnesses. The KENYA TIMES reported that, afterwards, a man saw Maitreya take a few steps and then disappear."… (In 1994 Maitreya appeared again in Nairobi as in 1988). "Maitreya continues to appear miraculously throughout the world, mainly at meetings of orthodox religious groups."  Here is a manifestation that poses as the Christ and anyone else that is important.  If he can deceive the Christians he will have the world in the palm of his hand.

Maitreya does not identify himself as anyone particular. He just appears, out of thin air in a form which they will recognize. Creme states " Maitreya leaves it to the groups, in the thought form in which He has appeared to them, to recognize Him or not. Some of them will say: "Beware, it could be the Antichrist: before the Christ comes, the Antichrist is coming." Either they believe it is the Christ or they believe it is the Antichrist; or they are mystified because He has not said who He is. Perhaps 80 per cent of the people believe they had an experience of the Christ."

This should put the fear of God in every Christian that one can think this person is Christ appearing, when in fact Jesus made it clear it would not be him, even if it looks like him (whatever that is) or they say it is him. If this is the end times then we must be mindful of his warnings, because with these supernatural appearances is attached a strong deception.

"Creme speaks of a "flood" of signs and wonders happening around the world in preparation for the appearance of the "Christ." He claims that Maitreya appears regularly before Christian gatherings. We may not have to wait for a manifestation of his "Christ" in a meeting. Maybe this already happened?

"...you will see Me very soon, each in his own way...Those who look for Me in terms of My Beloved Disciple, the Master Jesus, will find His qualities in Me..."Those who search for signs will find them, but My method of manifestation is more simple." (MESSAGE NO.10)

Creme states "The fundamentalists, of course, are afraid that Maitreya might be the anti-Christ, with which fallacy I have dealt many times, here and elsewhere. On the Day of Declaration, I submit, everyone -- even the fundamentalists -- will know, through the overshadowing of the minds of all humanity -- a Pentecostal experience for all -- that Maitreya is the Christ."

This whole Jesus materialization is not new, Hinn has said that Jesus has been making special appearances for years. Hinn had an appearance of Jesus at age 11 previous to his conversion to Christ and he has often said that Jesus comes to him in prayer daily, "I see the Lord, I can even tell you what he was wearing." (10/22/96)

"Whenever I talk to Him, I see Him. I can tell you what He - what He wears all the time. I can tell you what - what color He - He has on. I've seen that so many times. I - I'm talking about regular. When I talk to the Lord, He comes, I say "What - what uh, uh." Often, most times, I see Him wearing a blue, beautiful, almost like a - like a silkish looking garment. And under it would be a white garment. Sometimes I'd see Him wear white and a - a scarlet garment. I've seen Him at times when just pure white altogether. You say, "Where do you see Him?" I don't know. I just see Him. "  ( Blaisdell Crusade, Honolulu, 2-28-97)

Hinn states, "I am convinced there is a point in your relationship with the Spirit when the anointing becomes so heavy on you-His presence so close to you-that you can look up and see a vision of God. That's how real He can become." (Good Morning Holy Spirit, p.119) This is why Hinn has such incredible visions and visitations, he is so close to God. Despite no verification of this experience in Scripture,  he continually presents this to his followers.

Hinn relates of "A video of a meeting that was held somewhere I don't remember where now, and you see the lord on the video. He (the lord) actually appeared in the video, yea I got it somewhere I think I even showed it in our church." (10/22/96)

"In a service somewhere I don't remember where now, please forgive me but people were worshipping the lord and the lord appeared right in the service and the cameras caught it we have it on tape, we have it on tape. For 8 weeks the lords face appeared on the wall right below our balcony… that actually happened saint, 8 Sundays in a row that face was still there, appeared on the wall. Thousands were saved during that incredible move of God. (10/22/96)

The Lord appearing on tape is not something one would replace but then this is a common occurrence for Hinn who states he sees him even when he prays.

wpe45.jpg (3681 bytes)What if the person on the video looks like Maitreya, then what will be said? (Maybe this is why we haven't seen the video). Maitreya says he can appear in different forms to different people, so can he look like Jesus to the Christian, and the Buddha to the Buddhist, etc..

Hinn gives another story of this incident, "  I was preaching, I was actually ministering on a Sunday night to the sick when suddenly the people began screaming as the Lord's face appeared on the balcony. We have it on video. The Lord's face appeared on the balcony and what was so remarkable is right before that the same face appeared in the children's church on a blackboard. And a little child sitting there with crippled legs was healed instantly. The teacher comes running down from the balcony screaming and shouting, the kids are all behind her, telling us how the Lord had appeared up there. And when she came running down that's when the face of the Lord appeared in the main sanctuary. She was screaming, we all began screaming, and for eight weeks the Lord's face sit on that balcony, on the wall. And what was even more remarkable is that night, that Sunday night service when I was having a healing service, as I was speaking the mouth was moving. The mouth ... the Lord's face was on the wall and you could see the mouth moving as I was speaking. .. Eight weeks later it was still there." (Benny Hinn, This Is Your Day, April 21, 2000) Notice he says as he was speaking Jesus mouth was moving as if Hinn’s words are Jesus words. This is all   a false image of Jesus and is no different than the Catholic phenomenon of statues bleeding or crying. This is supernatural manifestations of idolatry.

I would hope that this should be enough for those driven by experiences to sober up, but it probably will not be. I'm sure I will get mail stating that I'm wrong in what I said. For people to do this they will have to overlook the most important events in the bible, the 2nd coming. For the Bible says clearly now, he will not come again until he does for all the church, collectively. He's not making special appearances for anyone, least of all Benedict Hinn.

Jesus does not appear to individuals or in Church's meetings. He is sitting at the right hand of the Father waiting for the time he is to come and collect the Church together in the rapture. We're told by Jesus himself when He returns, "every eye shall see Him."  Again there are no separate or special appearances except the false ones that Jesus already warned us about.

The angels in Acts 1 state "this same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven."  If he comes another way then you  know it is not the same Jesus.

 Jesus' own words

"Then if anyone says to YOU, look here is the Christ! or 'There! DO NOT BELIEVE THEM."

Don't Believe Hinn or anyone else if they say this!!!!

Mt.24:25 "SEE, I HAVE TOLD YOU BEFOREHAND."
