p.1 The New Age teachings of Mike Adams (overview) Mike Adams who is known to many as ‘the Health Ranger,’ is popular and used on many alternative health and news sites, and Christian websites. He says he has been feeling a strong pull to study the Bible, to the degree that he has started his own church and is preaching his own unique, unbiblical interpretations. He apparently did not prepare as other called pastors do to teach the Word accurately. He went into ministry without being grounded in the core doctrines; and it shows. Adams has no statement of faith on his Natural Abundance church website. Under articles, none are found (as of 4/2025). We need to understand that Mike Adams is teaching the Bible with a new age view, an open interpretation using a combination of other spiritual concepts; both traditional and untraditional. This will become apparent as we look into the quotes from his sermons. Some sermons are filled with these teachings, others are more subtle. He does have a constant underlying theme, that life is a simulation. Yes, much like the movie The Matrix, he speaks of being red pilled to escape it. “spiritual power through the teachings of Christ and how Christ is like super red pill.”(028 Mark 5-6 God infused us all with healing MIRACLES.) While Adams speaks of himself as being a Christian and teaches the Bible (not from it, but of it, by his own personal perspective). I see there is something else operating in his interpretations that has formed his worldview. Clearly, it is not Christianity in the Bible. The majority of His beliefs on Jesus, salvation, and the world are not what Christians throughout history have believed from the Scripture. We begin with an overview. Some of his teachings do not need any commentary to show they are not Bible teachings. One of his websites, ‘Divinity Now’ is described as a website about conscious cosmology. It has “its origins in the core values expressed by widely-practiced religions of the world.”Some of the bullet pointsare on How was our universe created? What is our purpose for being here? Why do our actions and ethics matter? What happens after we die? How can we develop a stronger spiritual connection? What is reality? What really exists? Karma and spiritual reckoning Origins of life. None of these points are answered by the Bible, quotes from these teaching are included in this series. It seems as if he does not speak these same things different audiences the same. First let's define what is Cosmology? It is a branch of astronomy that addresses the origin and evolution of the universe, from its inception (the big bang) to its the future. Cosmology tries to explain the origin, the purpose of the universe, the order of space, time, and life. It includes physics and metaphysics, especially, when you add his teaching of consciousness. He explains what he believes, “Even though we're teaching from the Bible, the words in the Bible are consistent with the words from other writings and other prophets and other wise men or wise people across the planet , maybe other sons of God, by the way. It's all the same thing, folks. It's all the same thing. It's just sometimes a little bit different description.” (102 - God issued his END TIMES warning) Is it all the same thing? Only if you are not paying attention to the details or do not understand which one is ‘the truth,’ and which is false! When you expand God’s Word to be beyond the pages of his only book written by HIS prophets for nearly 1600 years, you have stepped into universalist view; which is a tenet of the new age movement. What is New Age? It is an eclectic, a conglomeration of various spiritual, religious beliefs and practices; a synthesis including occult and metaphysical teachings and traditions. It is where one uses their individual choice in what spiritual beliefs they will accept and reject. The New Age uses both ancient and modern metaphysics, occult teachings for explanations of life not found in the Bible, it can use these teachings to reinterpret the Bible. Adam’s decided to teach the Bible without being grounded in the Word and approaches the Bible by his intellect, using other belief systems outside the Scripture. Our mind is to be taught by the ‘Holy Spirit,’ who is the author behind all the writer's words. To understand it correctly, Scripture will interpret Scripture, it will not contradict itself. We are warned by the apostle, 1 Cor. 3:18-19 “Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. (1 Cor.1:17) He explains that Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Cor. 1:24). While there are various views allowed on certain Scriptures, there are core doctrines that the church, under the headship of Christ is taught by the apostles that have always agreed upon. And it is these core doctrines Adam’s disagrees with and openly challenges the church. Adams admits He never imagined “doing what I'm doing right now.” How did it come to be? There's a calling. There is a spiritual calling and it's reaching a lot of people… even a lot of people that I know who I'm also shocked. He tells them, “I'm launching a ministry. I'm like, what? Are you kidding me? Like, I would never think that you would launch a ministry.” “So the reason this is relevant to what's happening right now is because, number one, there is a mass awakening of, I don't know, spirituality.”“…I just think it's a mass awakening of the spirit moving through people . And even my own sermons and my own church are an example of that. I never imagined I would be teaching the Bible. Never imagined that in a million years, as we say.” “And they would answer, well, I'd never think that you'd be teaching scripture, you know? So something interesting is happening, something powerful, something divine. Look, the Lord is working through us in ways that maybe we don't even understand yet . I believe there is a mass awakening. I believe that the power of Christ and his father, the Lord, is moving through us and helping the truth bubble up to the surface.” (035 - Mark 16 - The Resurrection of Christ) What is bubbling is not divine, but heresy (divisions from the Word) that he claims are Biblical teachings. What spirit is moving? It is not God's Spirit according to the Bible. Jesus Christ is the Lord, meaning he is God, same as the Father is God (and the Spirit is called God as well). Adams ‘Biblical’ teaching has the Triune nature; even the deity of Christ MISSING. This Spirit is moving through people who do not believe or understand the gospel? Adam’s explanations do not help. In fact there is no need to have a gospel because he says its your works that save, (along with faith in god – not christ). Scripture states, “ For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent." (1 Cor. 1:18-19) What we have are teachings that have similarities to Bahaism, similar to the Urantia book, and Mormonism as well as many other combinations of alternative spirituality. So his church is an example of this type of spiritual awakening. This is also spoken of by Maitreya, the new age Christ and the ascended masters. Doubting and rejecting the Scripture “Don't call yourself a Christian. If you're a Pollyan, you're a follower of Paul. You can practice Paulianity, and you can have a Paulianity church.” “You'd like the church of Paul and Saul. I don't know. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But that's my take on this, so let's always read the Bible critically , and let's be very careful what sources we trust in this, knowing that this is the history of the Bible, is steeped in politics and the government collusion and popularity contests, all kinds of things . And then, above all, today in our world, don't believe what Paul said . Don't think that authority comes from government.” (103 - Romans 13 - Paul was a DECEIVER) Adams, who formerly spoke well of Paul, changed his mind and now teaches Paul is betraying the word of Christ here, Paul is betraying the Lord, Paul is not a man of Christ. Paul is an imposter. Paul is willing to lie, Paul is an imposter. He is a liar. Paul is a deceiver. That Paul, he elbowed his way into a very dominant position in the Bible, contradicting the Gospels, and that he is not faithful to the teachings of the Lord (from sermon 103 - Romans 13 - Paul was a DECEIVER) “ Paul just kind of assumed the power. And he would present himself, oh, I'm the apostle. I'm the lead apostle. I'm the one true chosen apostle. That's not the way Jesus saw it. So we have to be really careful, about this, understanding that a lot of the Bible is actually false teachings . So you can only understand this, though, after you start to really, I think, study it and read it and have some discernment about the politics behind the Bible. How were these books chosen? How were these chapters chosen? (103 - Romans 13 - Paul was a DECEIVER who perverted the teachings of Christ and demanded obedience to corrupt government Adams is not careful at all, he accuses the apostle who wrote 13 books, and through whom Christ did miracles through, as false. Mike Adams has made himself a judge of the Scripture. What does the Bible actually say on Paul? Acts 15:2 Paul and Barnabas had a dispute with the Judaizers, V:4 when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. It’s James, with Peter who heads up the council, v.22 “ it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church,” approving Paul and Barnabas’ outreach to Gentiles, sending them off with a letter. Once you reject one of the apostles, you reject them all. Paul was received in Acts 15 Peter later writes, “beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures” (2 Peter 3:15-17.) There is a spirit of error and a spirit of truth; which one do you think Mike Adams has? Lets see how he agrees with New Age teachings. Jesus is not the only Son of God Adams teaches that there are other sons of God like Jesus, the Bible teaches God has only one Son, called ‘his only begotten son, (Jn.1:14, 18, 3:16,18; Heb. 11:7;1 Jn.4:9), meaning Jesus is the unique, one of a kind human being, He alone is God in the flesh. No one who knows the Word, loves Christ, (who is called ‘the Word’) can say such demoralizing statements on the Words Paul wrote under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth. “what we know from history is that wise men did appear in multiple cultures with teachings that clearly came from somewhere else. Did God send multiple messengers to multiple civilizations? And is it that Jesus was one of those messengers? “He is the Son of God. And can God have more than one son? Well, of course . I know families that have like seven sons and then one daughter or something like that. Of course, God can have multiple sons to say that God has multiple sons does not deny that Jesus is the Son of God, not in any way whatsoever. It also does not deny that Jesus is the way to the Lord. And is it possible that there are other sons of God who did the same thing? That they were brothers of Jesus and they were sent to teach and to uplift other civilizations and to look like them, to appear like them and to speak their languages in order to reach those people? Because I think the answer is obvious. The answer is yes.”( 097 - Mark Ch 9 - Jesus teaches MULTI-DENOMINATIONAL acceptance What is obvious is that this sounds more like the ascended masters than the Bible teaching. He seems to take the natural idea of son and family as the conveyed meaning. After speaking of what’s false in Christianity” That is, you know, if Jesus Christ taught anything, he said to the people, you are gods. You are gods as is our God ."Let's pause here before he interprets his words to mean something other than what he first said. This is not what Jesus meant at all but this is certainly what kind of teaching we find in the New Age. There is only one God, so men being called gods cannot mean what he says it does. Adams:“In other words, you are expressions of God as am I. And in Hebrew, the word that Jesus said was Elohim, Elohim, which is the same word as the God. So Jesus literally said to the people, you are Elohim, meaning you have this power of creation within you.” (Spiritual People Need To Prepare The New INSPIRED Mike Adams Interview. Interviewed by It's John Nolan) Apparently Adam’s does not know the word Elohim is a general word used of both true and false gods. Jesus in John 10 was addressing the authority the rulers have been using over the people, not in Gods ways. Jesus is quoting the one place this is found, in Psalm 82:6 addressing the rulers of Israel a group of religious rulers who rebelled against him abusing their authority. They did not recognize Jesus’ authority, being the Only Son of God sent from heaven (which Adams does not believe). Adams:“I've brought this up in my sermons is that God sent prophets to different cultures over time to speak to people in their own lives. In their own language and in their own image. And this is where some Christians have a little trouble with this concept at first until they begin to really just expand their minds and understand that God is not limited to having one son. Obviously, you can have more than one son. God is also not just sending one prophet or one son to one region of the world like the Middle East. God sent messengers and wise men or sons or prophets or God spoke to prophets in every culture across every region of the world. And of course, I believe across many worlds as well. So, in speaking to various people in these cultures, effectively transforming them into prophets.” (102 - God issued his END TIMES warning) Expand your mind so that God is not speaking by His Word, or limited in having his only begotten son sent, this all being antithetical to His Word. The only prophet God sent to another culture is Jonah, not to others on different continents, or other worlds! He continually inserts this concept into sermons, knowing full well what Christians who hold to God’s word will think (and mocks them). But this does not stop him from his feeble attempt to Ameliorate Christianity by his own interpretations; to have believers doubt the truth. He targets demolishing the core doctrine of Jesus alone being God’s Son, who was sent. “I've found Christians, again, mainstream Christians, by and large, to be just incredibly narrow-minded and lacking openness to embrace other people, other cultures, other languages, other religions, even if the people in those religions also honor Christ and the very idea that God may appear to different cultures that idea seems alien to Christians as if they've never even thought about the fact that God is bigger than one region of the world . As I've said before, it seems to me that mainstream Christians have a very tiny view of God. They believe in a really small God, almost like a false idol version of God, like a really limited God that doesn't have much power, and all he could do was send one son to one region of one planet, and then he ran out of power or something. (097 - Mark Ch 9 - Jesus teaches MULTI-DENOMINATIONAL acceptance) Yes, we do see this as a problem because of what the Bible teaches. But his view of the Bible is low, and he decides what to accept. Adams has a unique way of looking at life, interpreting the bible. One of the ways He describes Scripture, "But essentially the Bible is a document that is a giant collection of cheat codes for how to win life, how to graduate from this world and transition into the real world, which is beyond this simulation, as a person who passed all the tests." (099 gods multiverse and how to be the architect of the future you want) He explains that God is sending wisemen, prophets to listen to from all religions, so you can win the simulation, that this is not the real world, but is all a simulation. The Simulation on earth “I've often described our lifetimes here in our planet and this cosmos. I've described it as God's simulatio n. He then speaks of a comet “that exterminates all life, …we go into a different realm that transcends this world. And this realm is a new earth. There's not even any oceans. And then the tabernacle of God descends. And then God says, guess what? No one will ever die again. Why? Because you're not in human form anymore, folks.… There shall be no more death because you're not biological. You are now of spirit with God . That's the transformation that has taken place here. This is not heaven on earth as the same old earth. This is a whole different dimension of heaven .” (Adams, 064 - After planetary WIPEout) Our lifetimes? This coincides with his teaching of our works as karma. To be biological relates to being a creation, to be spirit with God can only mean that you become him, that you will be united with him! None of this is spoken of in the Bible but it certainly can be found in the metaphysical teachings of the New Age movement. If you think this has anything to do with the Bible let Adams reinforce his Hinduistic view. “You're on a contract adventure. Your soul and God got together and you made an agreement. You're like, okay, God said, do you want to take the Earth challenge? And you're like, oh man, I don't know if I'm up for that one. …And God's like, Yeah, you want to go there? That'll be a challenge. You can really rack up some karma points if you figure out that one. You want to go to Earth? And for whatever reason, your soul was like, well, I am up for a challenge. We already conquered the easy planets. The easy simulations. The last one was really too easy. That was life in paradise. And that was like, that was too easy. I'll take the earth challenge, send me to earth. And God's like, okay, good luck.” (102 - God issued his END TIMES warning) This is fantasy theology, yet this is what he has as the basis for the bible. “So if you wake up into a world without a memory, which is part of the agreement of when your soul appears here , let me back up, … this is my belief, this is a testing ground for your soul, but your memories are taken away from you, because part of the test is to discover who you are. That's the biggest challenge. Most people never figure that out, so that's step number one, (26:06) discover who you are and what's your purpose and what you're here to do. If you were born with all your memories, there would be no challenge. You're like, oh, here I am in a role-playing game, playing the role of an infant in this family, but you would remember everything, your entire soul history of where you came from and what you did before, so it wouldn't count. ” (MIKE ADAMS The Power Of The Contagious Mind INSPIRED Interview) You will not find any of this kind of teaching in the Bible, but you will in the new age, in Hinduism, theosophy, philosophy and metaphysics. p.2 Where do we find answers?
