For over 25 years our website has been about upholding, promoting and explaining sound doctrine, challenging and refuting teachings from those who do not teach it. We give people the other side they often do not hear, the Bibles perspective in context. It is up to each one of us to further consider what is being said, to look deeper into these men and women’s teachings for our own spiritual safety. Our intention is to uphold the core doctrines, to keep the unity of the faith among the body of Christ.

Numerous people misunderstand those who correct error or false doctrine. This ministry (and others like it) do this because we love the truth and we love people. We do not want to see them led astray or damaged by false teaching. We labor in love, minister with long suffering, hoping these people will understand and turn from what is false (2 Tim. 2:24). We do not condemn anyone in the finality of judgment; that is for God alone. What we do is test their teachings and their practices according to the Bible (in context). We are doing what Jude states, to “contend earnestly for the faith.”

When someone is teaching wrong on core doctrines or key issues publicly, when they become popular or are an influence to many others they need to be addressed to protect those who are listening. We reach out to their listeners who are being deceived by the glamour or by those who have famous reputations. We are not against people but for them and hope for the best. Unfortunately many people do not turn from what is false and often go deeper into it, dragging other along with them.

We do not jump to quick conclusions, we wait. Patience approves research. We check to see if something is repeated and verify it. We want to be led of the Spirit (of truth), not by emotion (the soul). We want to be accurate in our assessment.

For example, when someone uses the word channel or aura it does not always mean they are new agers. We need to first find how they using it. What do they mean by it? I personally try to avoid words that carry these connotations because using them can cause confusion even though these words have worked their way into the genre of today’s language.

Doctrine

All doctrine is important but not all is equal. The nature of God and the person of Christ take priority over nearly everything else. This is still the most controversial area to be addressed. Jesus being called the Son of God (God who is the Son) is the most argued point by liberals, cult groups and false teachers. His identity is directly connected to the gospel. For if Jesus is not the eternal God in human flesh how can He save today? How can He forgive the sins of people in his time, in our present or the future? To ignore or abandon this means one has rejected his person and his work that the gospel is focused on.

We proclaim his deity and Lordship and want to teach others on this.  Our ministry is focused on discipling others.

Examples of what is wrong

We have people even within the church that claim to be filled with the Spirit (more so than others) that teach Jesus left His deity in heaven. If so then who became man? Then God could not be in Christ reconciling the world to himself! (2 Cor.5:19)

There are others that are teaching we can do all that Jesus did, so we become like Him without the resurrection event that will transform us into his likeness.

These teachers divide you from the Word (intentionally or not). They want their words of revelation to be accepted as the Bible.

When the truth is not found being taught or practiced in the Church (the world is already void of the truth) the Church becomes something other than it is called to be by God. It becomes unhealthy and unable to do the work it is called to do.

No one wants to believe the Church, their Church is being harmed by men inside the church that preach what is untrue and act unseemingly toward one another. But we were foretold of this time at the end of the age to be unique throughout the Scripture.

We all see “through a glass darkly” but some have their glass darkened more than others, sometimes it is so bad that no light gets through. But what can one expect from those who take Scriptures out of context or act without love to their brethren.

Jude 1:19 there are those who cause divisions, these people are without the Spirit, and some are without a soul; they have sold out to money and fame.

Unless the church removes the abusive and obnoxious false teachers we will continue to wane until the only refuge will be independent blocks of believers in various communities, something we are already see developing. Some people have to drive long ways to find a Church that proclaims God’s Word.

When you attend a church that is staged like a good Hollywood production- run from it. The Scripture is not to make you happy but aware and even concerned at the condition of the heart that constantly needs adjusting before a Holy God.

We do not need professional Christianity but real – genuine Christianity. We should have less churchianity and more Jesus, less churchianity and more Holy Spirit, less churchianity and more truth, honesty and love need to be among us.

The truth

Prov.13:5 tells us “A righteous man hates lying.” The only way you can fight falsehood from taking over is by the truth. We should always present the truth because we love the people.

Prov. 12:17 “He who speaks truth declares righteousness, but a false witness, deceit.”

Ps 144:11 “Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, whose mouth speaks lying words, and whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.”

We have all heard of the right hand of fellowship. The Bible often distinguishes the right from the left as a blessing or a curse. In this case the right hand is a deception, because they speak what is false.

Jude 1:12-13 “These are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water, carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots; raging waves of the sea, foaming up their own shame; wandering stars for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.

Paul describes those who Rom. 1:18 who suppress the truth in unrighteousness.

Rom 2:8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth.

Jesus is called the Truth, He came to give us the truth on our spiritual condition and become the solution for all who are willing to hear and follow.

John 18:37 for this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

If teachers do not teach from or practice the truth they are not representing Christ. Teachers of the Word are to adhere to and explain the Scriptures in its context because they have heard and continue to hear His voice in His Word.

John 17:18-19 “As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.”

As Jesus was set apart to teach the truth so are we, every one of us. This separates us and those who hear us from the world (1 Jn.4:6).

The prophets and apostles of today

I caution you on are those who claim to be a prophet. If they are, they will point to their consistent accuracy over the years, and not ignore the wrongs and make excuses. They will agree with the prophecy in the Bible. They who come up with new revelation and often a new interpretation are to be avoided. If they claim to be an apostle, you can look at the churches they planted (not rule over) and see how sound their teaching is. Does it agree with the apostles that wrote the Scripture. Watch how they minister. Is there humility, is there genuine care for the people or is it self - serving to build up themselves to be made known.

2 Cor. 4:2 “ But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.”

The Christian life

Christianity is not complicated, it may be difficult to live in the times we are in but it is not complicated, nor difficult to understand the basic core teachings that we are all to adhere to (2 Cor.11:3).

Christian growth has the intent for us to mature and disciple others. It is summed up by the principle You get what you put into it. If you put in no effort, you can expect no results. Those who claim it is easy--- are not teaching what the Bible says (2 Tim. 2:2-3). Christian living goes against everything that we once lived by. After we are saved we are to continue to walk on the narrow road. We strive (agonize) to enter the narrow gate; for the road is narrow, and difficult is the way that leads to life.

2 Cor. 4:10-12 “ always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”

We (our self) is to decrease so He can increase. It’s when we die to self, we surrender to Him, that Christ begins to manifest His will for our lives and his power. This is essential for the church to carry the message. We see this in the first century church and it is no different today.

Acts 4:13 “ Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.” V.17-21 " But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name." And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, "Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. "For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard ." So when they had further threatened them, they let them go, finding no way of punishing them, because of the people, since they all glorified God for what had been done .

No one can threaten you when you are commissioned for a mission, when you are committed to the truth.

2 Cor. 13:8-9 “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.”

This invitation is to Pastors and believers in other countries. You do not need to ask for materials from us, our website is there for you to use freely. Our articles are there to help equip the church (unless there is something not posted you need to ask about). You are welcome to it all.

The times we live in are challenging. The world will continue to go its corrupt way and become worse. The local Church can change for the better or worse, it’s up to us to work with God’s will and way. Apart from Christ we can do nothing that will have any eternal benefit. Let us all work toward the same goal while it is still day … the night is coming.
