P2. Karl Marx’s answer to Religion and changing society

Too many Christians are sympathetic towards Marx's feigned goals to help the poor ,disregarding his utter animosity of religion.

Marx had a visceral animosity toward Religion, he stated, “The struggle against religion is, therefore, indirectly the struggle against that world whose spiritual aroma is religion ."

The Bible says the world is fallen and under the temporary jurisdiction of Satan and an enemy of God and all mankind. So he is not speaking of God's spirituality but the one who opposes it.

God tells us in Rom. 1:18-19 Unrighteous mankind suppress the truth in unrighteousness, v. 21-22 Mankind knew there is a God by his creation, but “they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools.”

Marx’s goal, “The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion."

How did Marx arrive at his new view? Many wonder. All we need to look at is who his new friends were at college, German intellectuals called the young Hegelians and his professor (Bauer). We are told "Bad company corrupts good morals" (1 Cor. 15:33). The missing element of change is that Marx went through a rapid deconstruction process via the Hegelian dialectic to form for himself a secular, materialist explanation of the condition of the world.

Marx’s writing in various works regarding God now had animosity. To his father he stated: “A curtain had fallen. My holy of holies was rent asunder and new gods had to be installed .”

To answer the question of whether Marx was an atheist, Marx did not say that there is no God, but expressed that he hated God and His influence on people. He opposed him and his values, and wanted God dethroned.

Statements Marx made, such as “building his throne against God” is far too similar of what he would know is found in Isaiah 14 and Ezekiel 28 by Satan.

Karl Marx by his system declared his war on the creator “The idea of God is the keynote of a perverted civilization. It must be destroyed.” (Communist Manifesto)

In one poem , “Thus heaven I’ve forfeited, I know it full well. My soul, once true to God, Is chosen for hell.”,… I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above.” (The Pale Maiden)

He understood there was a God and that he was now set himself against him. He knew what his choice would yield.

The Communist Manifesto was a pamphlet developed by both German philosophers Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. Marx replaced the belief in God with their special brand of intellectual secularism with a pinch of humanism.

His main argument was in keeping the view of the opposing sides at odds-- the bourgeois and the proletariat. This division was an exercise maintained by Hegel’s dialectic.

Hegel called the first theory a thesis. The second part applied was an antithesis, because it opposed the first. They manipulated the thesis to form a synthesis, the outcome needed to be promoted to the masses for their desired change. The intent: concepts were phrased to incite a rebellion, to divide and conquer more easily.

Hegel's way of thinking is known as dialectical thinking. Dialectical thinking is difficult to explain but can be more easily seen in practice. It is used extensively by Communists.

In their Communist Manifesto which Marx and Engle’s wrote, “When the ancient world was in its last throes, the ancient religions were overcome by Christianity.”

This is incorrect, they still exist today, these beliefs have morphed into new religions. But this shows his disdain for what he once believed, which became the focus of his religious assault. To him and his comrades it was all about upsetting the order that originated from God, which they hid by using other words and concepts.

The manifesto says “…The ideas of religious liberty and freedom of conscience merely gave expression to the sway of free competition within the domain of knowledge.”… To their dismay But religion, morality, philosophy, political science, and law, constantly survived this change.”

Correct, and it will continue to not only survive, but thrive as long as people seek true freedom, truth and spirituality instead of reducing the world to only the material.

Here is how they describe their enemy of ideas,

"There are, besides, eternal truths, such as Freedom, Justice, etc. that are common to all states of society. But Communism abolishes eternal truths, it abolishes all religion, and all morality , instead of constituting them on a new basis; it therefore acts in contradiction to all past historical experience.

We learn what is to be removed; the family, which we see is taking place today.

Marx believed individuality was hostile to his new society they were building. “ In bourgeois society capital is independent and has individuality, while the living person is dependent and has no individuality, ” which is not true. He further said, “ And the abolition of this state of things is called by the bourgeois, abolition of individuality and freedom! And rightly so. The abolition of bourgeois individuality, bourgeois independence, and bourgeois freedom is undoubtedly aimed at .” So Marx recognized what he was saying is taking away not enhancing our freedom that would be exercised as individuals.

Individuality encompasses a personal pursuit for one’s choices in their life, to decide how to improve it. This includes owning private property that you have worked for or inherited in your family. Marx believed the collective overrode the individual and his needs. Here we find a rejection to all of history, even those portions that worked.

We find that Marx wanted Eternal Truths to be removed which includes, which they identify as “ Freedom, Justice, including freedom of the conscience.”

Under their communism replacement, it included Nations. How is this done “ Take away a nation's heritage and they are more easily persuaded. In other words, remove the past history, this is being done right now in America.

The people are not to choose what system to govern themselves with, so capitalism should not be allowed (and free elections by individual choice). It is to be replaced by what they decide, therefore they become what they revolt against and are really totalitarians, dictators ruling over people.

The Manifesto speaks of universal inter-dependence of nations… in material, … in intellectual production. The intellectual creations of individual nations become common property.

This is what we would call today the New World Order. No individual actually owns anything, the state does. Marx did not want to submit to anyone (especially God), but through a system which he and certain others approved, it replaced an individual’s freedom (and religion), God they would submit to.

The only way you can have a one world government is by a Socialist system, not Capitalism. One system exercises control over all (Communism), the other allows individual freedom (such as “we the people”). Tyrannical rule does not coincide with freedom and self -governing of a Republic. His way to free the ‘exploited masses’ is to take away individual choices.

This is a political cult, that is just as dangerous as any religious cult. Maybe more, because it encourages its followers to be violent to reach their goal of destruction of culture. And… it is targeting our youth.

True religion sets people FREE it does not bring them into bondage nor hinder them to do right to others, but encourages it. His statements on religion can only apply to certain religions, those who speak of God but are not really from him. The true religion gives people Gods Spirit to live by.

Marx and Engels called, “Working men of all countries, unite!” Their manifesto made plain the class struggle that Marx had opted to use for his message.

Marx in the Communist Manifesto: called for the “ abolition of religion.” No tolerance for anything that opposed his views. The Manifesto called for “ the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions.

The fact is, World rulers, Emperors, dictators, tyrants, secular or religious, like the Popes, whatever they may be called are all found in this category as they control, manipulate, suppress and people die by starvation or are directly killed or incarcerate for disobedience to their leaders declared rules; to reach their utopian goals of paradise.

To Marx there was no evil or good in the way we normally understand it. Those who accept Marx and Communism have done more destruction to mankind and civilization than any religion through history. Tens of millions are buried attesting to the revolution Marx began to supposedly make things better his way. It did not once produce the glorious utopia he invented, but the opposite, suffering, destruction, and death as the worst of human nature was seen. As he called out those to participate in his promise of a better future and tried to oppose and eliminate Jesus and his influence from history.

The Communist history- Stalin, Lenin, Mao and Hitler ...

Marx’s influence was the catalyst for Lenin and Stalin. After all, Communist solidarity meant the pursuit of a collective vision. And the hope of the masses must be reset for an earthly Utopia, forfeiting the unchanging promises of the Biblical God.

Lenin was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. A few years after Marx died Lenin read his works. After his brother was executed for plotting to kill the Czar he was looking to find new ideas for challenging authority.

Similarly Stalin, started out as a believer. At fifteen, he wrote his first poem, which begins with the words, "Great is the Almighty's providence." He became a seminarian because he felt it his calling. Then he became a Darwinist, and then finally a Marxist. Stalin was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He said: “ We will destroy every enemy, even if he is an Old Bolshevik, we will destroy his kin, his family ,” he vowed. “ Anyone who by his actions or thoughts encroaches on the unity of the socialist state, we shall destroy relentlessly .”

Stalin was committed to the Leninist interpretation of Marxism, his was the 2nd generation of Marxist influence.

Stalin was a mass murderer and was embraced by many of the "progressives in America" at the time. “Time magazine” put Stalin on its cover 11 times. How many people is he responsible for killing? A research paper by Georgian historian Roy Aleksandrovich Medvedev published in the weekly tabloid Argumenti i Fakti estimated that the death toll directly attributable to Stalin’s rule amounted to some 20 million lives (on top of the estimated 20 million Soviet troops and civilians who perished in the Second World War), for a total tally of 40 million.

Mass killings occurred under some Communist regimes during the twentieth century with an estimated death toll numbering between 85 and 100 million” (USSR: 20 million deaths; China: 65 million deaths; Vietnam: 1 million deaths; North Korea: 2 million deaths; Cambodia: 2 million deaths; Eastern Europe: 1 million deaths; Latin America: 150,000 deaths; Africa: 1.7 million deaths)

Dr. R. J. Rummel, professor emeritus of political science at the University of Hawaii, who coined the term democide (death by government). Estimated 61,911,000 Victims , of the soviets Utopianism Empowered from 1917 to 1987.

Dr. R. J. Rummel's mid estimate regarding the loss of life due to Communism between 1917 and 1987 caused the death of approximately 148,286,000 people. (1993 University of Hawaii website; Freedom, Democracy, Peace; Power, Democide, and War. "How many did communist regimes murder?

In Mein Kampf Hitler wrote, “ The [socialist] movement sees in both churches (the Protestant and the Catholic) equally valuable support for the continued existence of our people. ” Hitler and his National Socialists embraced Christianity as a political tool, he planned to remove them after he did the Jews.

Hitler’s true views on Christianity, however, can be seen in one of the conversations he had with Hermann Rauschning. Rauschning asked Hitler, “ What do you think, will the masses ever become Christian again?” Hitler replied, “ Never! … But their priests … will betray their God to us … and replace the cross by the swastika. They will celebrate the pure blood of our nation instead of the blood of their previous redeemer…

Hegel’s convincing by conniving gave Lenin and Stalin their impetus to press on, and don’t think for a second this was not used in Hitler’s speeches to gather his momentum.

Whether it national socialist like Hitler or the various forms of communism it all yields the same results, destruction.

When the implosion of the old Soviet Union, it gave the rise to power of the leftists of the 1960’s and 70’s which has developed into their current state of hierarchy in our congress. The Communist movement spread quietly and found a new home in America. And thru patience, intellect and cunning…. has made great strides within America over the past 45 years. These 20 th century atrocities of Communism are ignored and explained away by their promoters

The Communist Manifesto should not be confused with the Humanist Manifesto that came 70 years later, there are some basic similarities. Humanists teach a similar concepts to Marxism. Though they are softened the ideas of Marx, they are still there: if we knock down " religious barriers" and "do away" with God, we would all get along, and our society would be much better off . Marx himself declared: "Humanism is nothing else but Marxism."

In the Humanist Manifesto I

On god

We believe, however, that traditional dogmatic or authoritarian religions that place revelation, God, ritual, or creed above human needs and experience do a disservice to the human species  As nontheists, we begin with humans not God, nature not deity…, humans are responsible for what we are or will become. No deity will save us; we must save ourselves”

On religion

Science and economic change have disrupted the old beliefs . Religions the world over are under the necessity of coming to terms with new conditions created by a vastly increased knowledge and experience

There is great danger of a final, and we believe fatal, identification of the world religion with doctrines and methods which have lost their significance and which are powerless to solve the problem of human living in the Twentieth Century.”

The final paragraph of the 1933 Humanist Manifesto: we consider the religious forms and ideas of our fathers no longer adequate These are the real progressives, which is a softened Marxist ideology.

The modern communists of our time

Marx stated Abolish slavery and you will have wiped America off the map of nations.” (Karl Marx, “The Poverty of Philosophy,” 1847)

Abolishing slavery was accomplished in America, and Marx was 100% wrong. America is still here. Marx was wrong on so many things. Marx’s conclusions came from observing the European society of 150 years ago, it is more than outdated.

The foundation of America, our constitution was always based on a Biblical worldview, principles of law that acknowledged a single God as the creator and humanity being equal. It was made a Republic government that was to represent people.

Marx’s goal was to destroy the USA, the center of capitalism. He thought the entire world would see the genius of communism and become communist. Marx said “ The meaning of peace is the absence of opposition to socialism.

Marx and friend[s]were prejudice and a bigots

Karl Marx exercised his judgment by defining people by their ethnicity. Both Engle and Marx were racist and had something bad to say on nearly everyone (except themselves directly).

In an 1887 letter, Engels wrote that blacks (using a racial slur) were closer to “the animal kingdom” than the rest of humanity, in a reference to his mixed race son-in-law.

In another letter to Engels, Marx wrote of Ferdinand Lassalle, a contemporary socialist of his day:

“It is now completely clear to me that he, as is proved by his cranial formation and his hair, descends from the Negroes who had joined Moses’ exodus from Egypt, assuming that his mother or grandmother on the paternal side had not interbred with a n—–. Now this union of Judaism and Germanism with a basic Negro substance must produce a peculiar product .” (The Ugly Racism of Karl Marx Walter E. Williams May 10, 2017)

Apparently the founder of The Jehovah Witnesses was influenced by cranial formation (phrenology) and thought of himself as smarter than most. The Superior Court record concerning Russell's divorce from his wife Maria: He repeatedly stated The proper 'brain and head' shape was supported by the 'science' of Phrenology, of which Russell was a great believer: ' I am not self-conceited, no as far as 1 am aware; on the contrary, two phrenologists who have examined my head have told me that I am deficient in self-esteem .' (Russell Vs. Russell 1906 divorce trial, testimony by Charles Russell, p. 223) He had his head examined on the outside, should have been the inside.

Marx and Engle’s prejudice and bigotry were evident.

They racialized skin-color groups, ethnicities, nations, and social classes. Neither Marx nor Engels had written any works dedicated to nations and races but they certainly gave their opinions.

Marx was an anti-Semite, hating his own ethnicity as seen in his essay titled “On the Jewish Question,” which was published in 1844. Marx asked: “ What is the worldly religion of the Jew? Huckstering. What is his worldly God? Money. … Money is the jealous god of Israel, in face of which no other god may exist. Money degrades all the gods of man — and turns them into commodities. … The bill of exchange is the real god of the Jew. His god is only an illusory bill of exchange. … The chimerical nationality of the Jew is the nationality of the merchant, of the man of money in general.”

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were fantasy-mongers, that the Israelites were idolators … that the tribe of Simeon (exiled under Saul) had moved to Mecca where they built a heathenish temple and worshipped stones .” (Karl Marx, letter to Engels, June 16, 1864)

Marx as never a practicing Jew but he did come from them .

Walter Williams points out, in Marx’s pamphlet, A World without Jews, Marx repeated all low-grade, xenophobic stereotypes attributed to Jews by typical anti-Semites. Here are just a few snippets of his "deep" philosophical thoughts:

" Money is the zealous one God of Israel, besides which no other God may stand."

"The God of the Jews has become secularized and is now a worldly God. The bill of exchange is the Jew's real God. His God is the illusory bill of exchange ."

As rightly said, this book could take a "worthy" place on a shelf of any rank-and-file anti-Semite along with Hitler's Mein Kampf and the Russian-French Protocols of the Elders of Zion.”

In the introduction to the English edition of the war against the Jew, Dagobert D. Runes accurately noted that "[t] he identification of Judaism with usury and exploitation of the masses, combined with an alleged secret master plan of Jews with headquarters in Jerusalem to dominate the rest of the world, has been, and still is, the fundamental platform of political anti-Semitism ."

Reading some of Marx's and Engels's expressions causes not only frightened astonishment, but also sincere disgust. Here are some of the pearls from the pen of Marx and Engels.

About the Chinese: "It would seem as though history had first to make this whole people drunk before it could raise them out of their hereditary stupidity." (MECW, Vol. 9, p. 99)

About Mexicans: "The Spaniards are indeed degenerate. But a degenerate Spaniard, a Mexican that is the ideal." (MECW, Vol. 29, p. 347)

About Scandinavians: "Obviously, the more primitive a nation is, the more 'scandinavian' it must be." (MECW, Vol.7, p. 422)

With statements like these it’s hard to understand how their influence survives. That is unless these statements are hidden and not known by their followers who fall into their racial categories.

If there were any disagreements between them and their fellow socialists (comrades), let’s just say the fix was in. One example is the characterization of Ferdinand Lassalle behind his back as a "Jewish n____." Thus, Marx wrote to Engels, " It is now perfectly clear to me that, as testified by his cranial formation and hair growth, he is descended from the negroes who joined Moses's exodus from Egypt (unless his paternal mother or grandmother was crossed with a nigger). ... Well, this combination of Jewish and Germanic stock with the negroid basic substance is bound to yield a strange product ." (MECW, Vol. 30, p. 210)

In his recent book, The Devil and Karl Marx, Paul Kengor points out that Marx loved the line that comes from the devil character in Mephistopheles, in Goethe’s Faust: “ Everything in existence is worth being destroyed.”

Many of Marx’s writings, have this theme running through them which does have one ponder if his communism was actually to help humanity, …or was it vengeance against God. Marx adopted the Devil’s view of the world. At the end of Marx’s play, Oulanem, he states:

“If there is a Something which devours, I’ll leap within it, though I bring the world to ruins—
The world which bulks between me and the abyss I will smash to pieces with my enduring curses....”

Marx shows his contempt for humanity, same as the devil does: he condemns the whole human race to damnation, along with himself. Isn’t that a fair and just man, and his ideas are going to build a better system for the world?

Dr. Kengor elaborates: “ Friends said Marx would chant this. He would recite this—‘Everything that exists deserves to perish. Everything that exists deserves to perish.’ This is a philosophy that’s about tearing down, burning the foundation, leveling the house, to where you have Marx standing there in the smoldering embers, saying, ‘Now we are ready to begin .’

You can’t reason with those whose goal is to burn it all down like Marx! Those who generate fear, hatred and anger accusing others of what they themselves do, are the modern Hegelians/ Marxists.

Pt.3 Today's Marxist/Communists -- their ways are his ways - modern day Communists vs. freedom
