God is Jesus Christ the creator

Some are confused on Biblical terms and persons spoken of in the bible that are called God. Because of this they cannot understand who the creator is.

We know that the Old Testament makes it clear that God is the creator Genesis 1:1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”

It is speaking of God the being. As the prophet does in these verses.

Isaiah 42:5 Thus says God the LORD, Who created the heavens and stretched them out”

Isa 45:12 I have made the earth, and created man on it. I-- My hands-- stretched out the heavens, and all their host I have commanded.”

Isaiah 45:18 For thus says the LORD, Who created the heavens, Who is God, Who formed the earth and made it, Who has established it.”

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth.”

Ps 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained

Isaiah 43:15 “I am the LORD, your Holy One, The Creator of Israel, your King."

Jesus is called in Luke 1:35-36 that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

(Psalms 71:22 God is called the “Holy One of Israel”, Hab.1:12; Hosea 11:12; Acts 2:27 1 Jn.2:20; Mt.1:24)

In Acts 4:24-25 the disciples in one accord and said: “ Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them .”

To the disciples their Lord was Jesus, they understood that he was the creator who was now with them in human flesh.

John later states in Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, O Lord,To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will they exist and were created." Whom is the Scripture speaking of?

John 1:2-4 Speaking of the one who is called The Word, who is Jesus Christ - V.2-3 “He (the Son) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.”

Paul agrees with John when he writes in Ephesians 3:9 God “ who created all things through Jesus Christ” Jesus is called the Son, he created ALL things.

One must exist before ALL things or he becomes one of the things created.

Paul speaking of the Son –Jesus Christ- Colossians 1:16-18 “For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth , visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.”

If the Scripture tells us the everlasting God, the LORD, is the Creator, and Jesus Christ the Son is the creator of all things then the only conclusion is for us to believe the Bibles testimony. And we still have one more testimony- the Father’s which is contained in the Bible. In Heb.1:10 Scripture has the Father speaking of the Son, “ And, Thou, Lord,in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of your hands...”

It is his hands that the Scripture says

Isa 45:12 I have made the earth, And created man on it. I--My hands -- stretched out the heavens

Isa 48:12-13 I am He, I am the First, I am also the Last. Indeed My hand has laid the foundation of the earth,

And My right hand has stretched out the heavens”

Heb.3:6: “For every house is built by someone, but H e who built all things is God.

Jer. 10:11 Thus you shall say to them: "The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth and from under these heavens."

If Jesus is not the God who created the heavens and the earth than he will cease to exist, perish.

Jer. 32:16-17 I prayed to the LORD, saying: 'Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm.”

Heb. 1:10-12 You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; And they will all grow old like a garment; Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed. But You are the same, And Your years will not fail."

Only God stays the same. Mal.3:6. The one who made the heavens laid the foundation of the earth stays the same while the creation grows old.
