p.6 The Send 2019 is launched

The prophecy nearly seven years prior along with Engle’s supposed revelation on Lk.4:18 becomes the shift from TheCall to The Send

Engle and his team went to Orlando, where he began to prophesy at the Citrus Bowl of a massive evangelical movement coming, a new Jesus Movement would break out.

They began to pray for and for 200,000 missionaries to be sent so that 80 million souls in America would be saved. Engle has reached to the most notable and largest missions organizations for his national and worldwide outreach. The event on Feb. 23, 2019 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida had 60,000 people, mostly youth come. It became one of the largest missionary gatherings in history to send workers into the harvest field.

Keep in mind his associations, the NAR (New apostles and prophets of Peter Wagner’s group)  are all on board with this.

Engle has now shifted into the Send a full blown Latter Rain i.e. Joel’s miracle healing army, also known as the manifests sons of God. As he decrees what the Lord is about to have take place, “Now let the scroll of Luke 4:18 roar throughout the earth. Raise up thousands of workers who have the spirit of the sovereign lord upon them to unleash the ministry of Jesus to the broken and the oppressed. Heal every manner of disease, sickness and mental oppression.” https://louengle.com/a-new-scroll-for-the-nations/

The launch of this new ministry of Engle’s shifts the church into an exposure of Latter Rain teachings that we have not seen since William Branham’s meetings.  The Send’s first gathering was with Bill Johnson, featuring Benny Hinn and Rodney Browne, some of the worst false teachers inside the church. Their Revivalism trajectory used Gnosticism, Mysticism, not Scripture. When it was used, it was heavily distorted. That is what everyone needs to know about this. Make no mistake, this is all about a new Latter Rain movement.

Background:

The Jesus of Rodney Browne, Benny Hinn and Bill Johnson is not God on earth but only a man, a prophet, who operated by the Holy Spirit. Johnson says, “He had set aside His divinity.  … He put self-imposed restrictions on Himself to show that us we could do it, too.  Jesus so emptied Himself that He was incapable of doing what was required of Him by the Father – without the Father’s help.” (Page 50; “The Supernatural Power of a Transformed Mind”)

Johnson with the others holds to the Latter Rain view (William Branham's). He makes this point because of the Latter Rain teaching of the Spirit is the power that gave Jesus the abilities he had, and that he able to do the same with us as he did with Jesus.

Like others in the word faith movement Johnson states Did you know Jesus was born again?  I asked the first service, and they said, “no”, but I’ll show you it’s in the Bible.  He had to be, He became sin.” youtube video http://youtu.be/UzAwFYKe3h0  (This is what William Branham taught whom Johnson teaches from at his church)

Benny Hinn likewise says He disrobed Himself of the divine form, the limitless God, became a man.

Rodney Browne taking his cue from Kenneth Hagin whose Rhema church he learned from, repeats the same nearly word for word, “He laid aside His royal robes of Deity when He walked on earth as a Prophet.”

We must understand that this is a denial of God coming in the flesh which is a core doctrine one is to teach as a Christian. These men also believe Jesus was born again. But only sinners need to be born again. Jesus never was only a man, but God who came to earth and became man.

Rodney Browne’s Latter Rain promotion has been constant, he says of this great revival coming (Latter rain revival), that "Eyeballs will form, legs and arms will grow out, people will leap out of wheelchairs..." (Rodney Howard Browne, The Coming Revival, p. 27)

What they are teaching is straight out of the Latter Rain of the 40-50’s and it is not good.

YWAM’s Andy Byrd said at the beginning of the meting: “Our goal isn’t just for an event or gathering but for an activation to occur.” Activation is a particular word that has been popularized by NAR prophet Bill Hamon on the gifts being transferred. And that is what this whole meeting was about, the transferable anointing  which Rodney Browne spoke of  for many years ago.

YWAM founder Loren Cunningham was also at the Send said, we are on the brink of something historic in missions.” Engle says history was in the making, indeed it was. It was the first time the Latter Rain doctrine of the fire baptism was introduced to so many youth who want to be on the mission field. What they learned at this meeting shifts their whole Christian understanding that will eventually affect their walk.

The whole “send” message is so off that it is hard to comprehend how people do not see what it actually is. But this is not just going to leaven America. Other countries Argentina, Brazil are all to be introduced with these new Latter Rain heresies.

What did they teach? Hinn has said previously the Church is deficient because of the absence of a “fire" anointing, and he called for fire to come on them at the conference. Hinn taught the very opposite of what Bill Johnson (who was there on the stage has been teaching).

What we saw on stage--Hinn sings allelujah, as Todd White is on his Knees to the left of him. As Hinn speaks of the “healing anointing is flowing all over this crowd, many of you are feeling like electricity flowing thorough your body, some feeling tense heat like fire” (exactly how Hinduisms Kundalini is described,) he then says there’s miracles taking place. “You have been here all day this is now the time has come for you to receive what God has in store for your life, future and destiny, and I’m about to release that anointing of God on your life and future.

Then Hinn gives this false revelation “… you have to understand something. Jesus gave you the greatest gift when he sent the Holy Spirit to be your comforter… all the miracles, all the signs, all the wonder he performed when he walked this earth did not change one heart, why? The Holy Ghost was not here yet.” You have to understand it is not by might nor by power, everything Jesus did was by might and power, but the Bible says its not by might its not by power – its by my spirit. Only the Holy Spirit can change the hearts of men, only the Holy Spirit can change your life today. And all you need to do is begin to acknowledge… begin to acknowledge him in your presence on a daily basis. Now lift your hands and welcome the Holy Ghost right now. “

There is very little truth in what Hinn said. To say the Holy Spirit was not here on earth when Jesus ministered is just wrong. John was filled of the Holy Spirit from the womb (Jn.1:15; his father Lk.1:67; Simeon lk.2:25) and most importantly we see Jesus Lk.3:22; 4:1, the Holy Spirit was active all through Jesus’ ministry. When it says the Holy Spirit was not yet given in Jn.7:39, it means not in a permanent way to indwell us. Jesus himself breathed on the disciples the Holy Spirit in Jn.20:22. So Benny Hinn is flat out wrong!

Bill Johnson teaches Jesus did everything in his life BY the Holy Spirit, that was the power (Todd White says the same). So Hinn contradicted their whole teaching on Jesus (this relates to Jesus putting aside his deity on earth and lived as a man empowered by the Holy Spirit).

Not that any of them would notice this contradiction. What we see is Hinn actually contradicts not only himself and Bill Johnson, but the Scripture.

If everything Jesus did was by might and power and it was not by the Holy Spirit doing anything in Jesu, then what Jesus did is meaningless according to Benny Hinn.

What comes next was dangerous. Hinn actually thinks he has the ability to release the Holy Spirit for your future by this single experience. Hinn goes on to have  people “join hands quickly, all of you … are you ready for the power to fall right now …(Hinn repeats)  join hands and lift your hands up high. When I say three you cry fire, and when you say fire it will come upon you.He then screams at them repetitively “are you ready (at this time Todd White puts up his hands as instructed). 1-2-3, Hinn then screams “Fire” here it goes,” (and repeats this over and over…)

This is Jesus the evangelist ministry? They listened and eagerly receive what this man says but he does not know what he speaks of! Jesus is the baptizer of the Holy Spirit, not man, you can’t order him to do this by your word. Whatever happened to its not mine to give? Besides, it was fire  he was calling upon them. This cult atmosphere was fully accepted by those who attended because they do not know the Word to give them discernment, they know no better.

If this is the next wave of evangelism prompted from this false anointing we will have trouble like we have never seen.  This is Lou Engle’s Send!

Rodney Howard Browne was next, he asks for total quiet stating, “the power of God is falling all over this place” he tells then to keep their hands raised and then explains to the people how in 1979 the fire fell on him. “tonight the fire of God is falling because you are at the place called the Send” coming out of the meeting will come people to the far flung corners of the globe.

He then instructs (the over 60,000 + young people) to place one of their hands on their belly, “because he said out of your belly will flow rivers of living water.”  He instructs them not to sing or shout but to begin to let that river flow out of you ,… its going to be a heavenly language, and that  fire will come on your mouth and come on your hands, its already falling on people all across this stadium (this would be a second time after Hinn was calling it down) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=45jnVHmFefs

While raising the other hand in the air. He then called out for a “holy” fire baptism, to descend upon all of them.

The Scripture actually means out of your inner most being flows living water, not your belly. This river is there when you minister to others in their life, it is not an experience at a gathering as Browne is teaching them. It does not fall on them from heaven, the water of life is already present within. It is there for when you do ministry.

Is the mantle of Billy Graham now fire? Because that is what these men spoke of at the Send. This whole movement has gone off the cliff. This is not a mistake, this is all being done on purpose. The youth are being misled into a false Christianity.

Past History meets modern history

The fire baptism that was originally spoken of by Franklin Hall was expanded by Branham later in his ministry. Branham taught of, Holy Spirit Fire falling from God out of heaven

Engle uses reallystrange Bible teaching for motivation.

Using Mk.1:9 (then trying to be clever says Mark Chironna chapter 1) Engle mentions, “Derek Prince, Bob Mumford, those guys. Actually the shepherding movement came out of that, I’m not so sure those guys, I think sometimes the followers take it further than the teachers. Actually, I think the shepherding movement was actually needed because the Jesus movement was going on without any discipline. So what happens is the Devil actually crucified Jesus between two thieves, the thief of freedom and independence and the thief of over shepherding. And some how we have to watch for these things in our movement that we get into extremes and I’m here to talk about extremes today.” (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ihAo5opZAt8  Lou Engle at Global Summit 2016)

Which of these two thieves of Engle’s story repented? It does not matter since he is making this all up. This is a typical Latter Rain type interpretation, take a literal event and spiritualize its meaning, it becomes unrecognizable, but sounds profound.

Over shepherding is never needed, it is hurtful. None of this makes any sense, addressing extremes? Engle’s whole movement IS the extreme. This proves the Scripture my people perish without knowledge, and that zeal without knowledge is just as destructive.

Engle’s also speaks of being awed by Ern Baxter.  Some quick history, Ern Baxter was a Canadian Pentecostal evangelist who accompanied William Branham his campaigns and was his manager between 1947 and 1953. George Warnock was Ern Baxter’s Personal Secretary and right-hand man, who became a main promoter in the Latter Rain.

NAR prophet Bill Hamon is a direct link to the Latter Rain movement of the 40’s, he states the, next advancement of the Church Army. They are being purified by the Baptism of Fire… Are you ready?” (p. 374 Christian International Publishers, 1981)

This is exactly what Hall and Branham taught. And this is what Engel is promoting through Hinn and Browne at the Launch of his new ministry The Send on Feb. 23, 2019.

Hinn has also promoted this fire for many years. “The fire of God hit and the Lord kept saying to me, 'Say, Fire! Speak the word, Fire!' … And we’re going to come into a new walk with Him. Remember, He declared we would be baptized with fire. Fire ... Ladies and gentlemen, I want you to know, the day will come when the fire of God’s presence will visibly appear in public meetings. You may have never heard that before - it’s biblical. ... We’ve known the baptism of the Holy Ghost, but we have not yet known the fire.” (November 1998 airing of his This Is Your Day)

Hinn growling in tongues, growls "Fire on you and your ministry. bring those preachers, bring those preachers, bring those preachers, bring those preachers, My God .FIRE , FIRE, FIRE, FIRE, FIRE on you” (Sept.13.1999)

Benny Hinn releasing his anointing says, “Let the power in the Fire, fire, fire, feel the anointing. …Lord, I give you these kids. I give you these young people…. Fire, fire, fire, fire, fire. …That’s fire on these kids. Bring them here. That’s fire on these kids. Pick him up. Fire. He’s being electrocuted by God’s power. This young man is being electrocuted by God’s power. Fire. Pick him up. Fire on you. Pick him up. Fire on you. Fire on you. … That’s glory. That’s glory. That’s glory. That’s glory. That’s fire. That’s fire. That’s fire on you, my friend.”

“when I felt this atmosphere on me, and I spoke of a word, FIRE, like that.  They were thrown in the air, began to, to roll real rapidly, and they went into the, what do you call that, like when a baby, a fetal, fetal position, with their bodies vibrating from head to toes violently” (Oct.23, 1999)

"You know what days these are? The days of Elijah. We are in the days of Elijah! Fire is falling down from heaven!" (Benny Hinn May 24th, 2000 - This Is Your Day)

Hinn has been consistent in his promotion of fire falling, which came from the Latter Rain movement which he is well aware of.

This has also been taught in the NAR. Cindy Jacobs leads those gathered at National School of the Prophets “We speak of fire, God, right now. Right now, right now, fire of God. Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho. Yeah, yeah, the fire of God. The fire of God. We release it and we declare it.” “Come on, speak the fire of God right now. Right now. Right now. Just receive it.”. … Baptize us with fire” "Fresh fire," says the Lord, "coming down. I'm exploding it now." Receive the fire of the Lord. It's coming now, it's coming down. Fresh fire, fresh fire is raining down…. (Cindy Jacobs  National School of the Prophets, May 11th, 2000)

Likewise Mike Bickle whom Engle’s associates himself is calling down fire from heaven along with others at their International coalition of prophets, “Loose the spirit of burning! Fire! Fire! Fire! Fire!” (Mike Bickle May 12, 2000, National School of the Prophets)

So many more quotes can be used. This is permeated all the NAR teaching because they are Latter Rain promoters. The Latter Rain is mentioned over and over by Engle.

Is there is a fire anointing or a baptism of fire? It’s crucial to find this out lest you receive another spirit masquerading as the Holy Spirit transferred from these men that will give you a convincing supernatural experience that is not of God.

The false Holy Spirit is transferred or summoned. The only one in the Bible who called down fire was … NO ONE. The only ones who wanted to call down fire was John and James (as a judgement) but they were stopped, as Jesus' rebuked them saying, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.” (Luke 9:55-56)  That is because fire is a judgement.

There is no anointing of fire, a fire baptism for believers. These men are spiritually deceived, they think they can call down the Holy Spirit (which they claim is the fire) from heaven.

We should understand fire coming down from heaven is not a good thing. In fact we are told in Rev. 13:11-14 in the future  “Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast”

Think about this fire as a harbinger of the second beast performing the supernatural signs.

How bad is their interpretation?

In Act s 2 small lights (like flames) appeared over each of the heads in the upper room when the Spirit was first sent, it was never repeated again. Nobody expected it to be repeated, nobody asked for fire to come. You as a believer have the Holy Spirit, He indwells you, He leads to self control, He fills you for ministry not for an expectant experience at a gathering.

When Jesus was speaking to believers only, the baptism of fire is not mentioned (Mark 1:8), only the Holy Spirit.

In Acts 2 (fulfilling what John said) we never see a baptism of fire. No one received a baptism of fire or felt fire. This fire is not taught anywhere.

Luke 3:17, makes it clear that the baptism of fire is a baptism of judgment, it is for the chaff. Understanding the culture can be crucial to some of Jesus’ teachings, There the Lord is pictured as a winnower of grain. The chaff is blown off the sides of the threshing floor. Then it is swept up together and burned. Matthew 3:12 He will “gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

It is only the tares that are associated with fire. The baptism of the Holy Spirit came to all who believed (Acts 2, 8, 10), and there was no fire baptism produced, not once.

Rodney Browne, Benny Hinn is calling on God to do what the Lord said he would do to unbelievers. They get away with this because no one knows the Scripture correctly. The youth end up trusting men, not God. Men who teach what is untrue on such crucial matters.

These are the men Engle picked for his significant first Send meeting. This whole matter goes from bad to worse as we look at The Send and whose involved and what they are teaching. They are making Latter Rain followers of the youth.

The conclusion of this matter

Can you believe with us that denominations will unite, that the races could come together, that God could make us one, as the antidote to the terrific division in our day? Could you believe with us for stadium Christianity where signs and wonders are breaking out and mass evangelism explodes across our country” (the Third Great Awakening?” Lou Engle)

Engle has now shifted into the Send a full blown Latter Rain i.e. Joel’s miracle healing army. As if something has now shifted and the Lord is about to have the manifests sons of God take place.

“We are calling the body of Christ worldwide in 2020 to a 40 day Lenten fast to return to the devotion of her youth, to once again follow her Bridegroom into the wilderness, to long for His coming now in worldwide Revival and His second coming then to rule with Him on the earth. (Lou Engle Global Bridegroom Fast Apr 24, 2019)

We have a tribulation and a rapture missing.

Jesus did promised an outpouring of his Spirit to unbelievers and he told us when it would take place, during the time of Jacob’s trouble, the Tribulation.  Joel 2:31The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, is at the sixth seal (Rev 6:1)

Acts 2:17 concludes the spirit is being poured out is for salvation, it is not poured out on the church. Joel 2:31-32 it is in Jerusalem.

Instead, he sternly warned of a great falling away from the true faith in these last days. The Bible in no uncertain terms speaks of counterfeits; apostles, prophets with signs and wonders 2 Thess. 2:1-12  (today’s Revivalism) before the return of the Lord. These will be of such strength and magnitude in its deception that it can persuade those who walk with Christ to be misled, if it were possible.

A true Revival uses the Word, it is evangelistic. Sin is explained in the context of the gospel as the answer and it has people repent to receive new life. Paul said over and over the Gospel is the power of God to all (Rom.1:16; Col.1:16).

Paul even juxtaposed Christ crucified (the gospel) with those who have persuasive words, that can even use the words of the Bible along with the philosophy of men. 1 Cor. 2:2-5 “For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. … And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.”

The demonstration of the Spirit and of power was of those being saved by the gospel.

Who gets revived? Those who hear the word and respond to it.

Isa. 57:15 “those of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”

It was the preaching of Christ in the early church that revived people to life. Not by taking words out of context for a supernatural experience.

Acts 2:41 “those who gladly received his word, three thousand souls were baptized and added to the church.” Peter preached Christ and the resurrection.

Lou Engle is just another in a long line of  those who misinterpret Scripture on the Latter Rain outpouring, who want to make it all happen NOW. But their timing is not God’s timing which is already explained to us in Scripture.

Using the elements of prayer, evangelism, concern for others are all good spiritual works, but these are slanted by how they are carried.

There are sincere people involved who do not have their armor on. They are ready to believe and fwolloanyone’s persuasive words. Do these youth know they are becoming fledgling members of this new Latter Rain movement? That they are in unity with false teachers who bring them into unbiblical experiences? Long fasts, praying for Christian dominionism on earth, are all part of this new Latter Rain movement, one should first look before they leap into this movement for their own spiritual safety.
