How did sin come into mankind?

The apostle Paul, the teacher of teachers in the New Testament writes in Rom. 5:12-13 “Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned.”

Paul is referring to Adam eating the fruit of the one tree that God specifically said not to eat, he disobeyed.

It could not be said any clearer than what Paul explains here. v.14 “Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam.

Adam willfully sinned when he ate the fruit given to him from Eve. Paul explains even those who did not ‘willfully sin’ like Adam received death because of they inherited sin as their nature. “ For the wages of sin is death.”

Romans 5:18 -19 says, " through one man's trespass, judgment came to all men, for by one man's disobedience all were made sinners .” “All,” thus we are all condemned and need salvation (Jn.3). Only Adam became a sinner by sinning (Eve was deceived into sin). This is written because the gospel is to both Jews and gentiles, to show the whole of humanity is sinful, guilty of disobedience before the only holy God.

1 Cor. 15:22 “For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive .” As Adam spread sin to all, everyone who lived died, however they will also experience a resurrection. But the there is one caveat; only those ‘in Christ ‘will the spend eternity with God, others will be separated without him for eternity.

Ecclesiastes 7:20 or there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not .”

Eph.2:3 we are all “by nature children of wrath.” We are all are born condemned  (Jn.3:17-18) nd need salvation, because we are all by nature sinful.

Jeremiah says, “the human heart is desperately wicked” (Jeremiah 17:9), Jesus expanded on the heart being deceitful and explained this Old Testament scripture. Matt 15:18-20: “those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man “ (also Mk.7:21)

I Jn. 1:8 “If we say that we have NO SIN, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us”

Sin is not just something you do physically, it is within you. It is the imperfection of humanity that we all share in

Job 15:14 (the oldest book of in the Bible) asks “ What is man, that he could be pure? And he who is born of a woman, that he could be righteous ?”

Job 25:4 “ How then can man be righteous before God? Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman?”

Jesus the seed of the woman (Gn.3:15) bypassed sin, that is how. By a supernatural virgin conception.

The hard to understand Scriptures are always to be understood by the plain and clear ones. If you do not understand the whole view you will not get the details right. The Bible is a book of redemptive history of mankind from the beginning to the last book about the savior, the revelation of Jesus Christ who rewards those who accepted him as Gods solution for their sin with eternal life in a resurrected immortal body. That is why He came, to die for our sin so we can live with him in paradise forever.
