Some questions being avoided about Islam

I do not agree with those who make condescending remarks of any religion for the effect of controversy unless they are factual and historical. To blame free speech is hardly a rational reaction. A fair conclusion would be a standard applied for all religions, not just one. So what happens when this is done to Christianity or other religions? Where’s the outcry for them…

I understand that the religion of Islam reveres Mohammed and are instantly offended by ANYTHING said that they don’t like but would Mohammed condone or condemn them for killing others in defense of him? That is real question among many others that need answering. Are these Muslims following their prophet, are they following the Koran?

Why do Muslim’s not riot or kill for Jesus or for any other of the prophets? Could it be because only Mohammed is connected with Islam; being the most important of all.

Would any other prophet in the Bible tell people to defend their name by killing others? Certainly Jesus whose name is blessed by Muslims would not; we know this from what He said:

Matt 5:44 "But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.” Luke 6:27-28 "But I say to you who hear: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you.”

Being under Roman occupation and having the Roman soldier’s control the community was what Jesus had in mind when he said this.

Do we watch and learn? Recently we watched the Pakistani’s declared a protest called Love for the Prophet day as they continued to go on a rampage burning and killing, that’s love? Apparently they have a different definition. So far 19 dead, 200 wounded shows us what religion means to them.

Pakistan along with other nations have laws about speaking ill of the “prophet” or the Koran. It is these same countries that through the religion of Islam allow honor killings of daughters, female circumcision and behead those who convert to another religion other than Islam! This is what Sharia law brings.

Bilour is a member of the left-wing Awami National Party, told CNN speaking only on behalf of himself, not the Pakistani government, “I am a Muslim first, then a government representative.”

This is what we need to understand, their religion is far more important to them than religion is to those in the west. It seems no one gets outraged (with violence) over remarks as Muslims do.

If one has the truth, why are they so weak in their belief to fight others that disagree, why can’t they debate the facts? They claim to be the true religion, so why can’t this be spoken? Do they explain to people before they join that if others disagree they are going to riot, destroy peoples stores, homes and even kill them? According to Islam there is no toleration to leave their religion.

Imagine having a neighbor that went to war with you every time there was a disagreement. That’s what Israel has. We are to ignore all the insults and lies to the Jews and Israel but allow them to show their anger (which is hatred) to those who disagree with them. When in world history has this ever gone on?

Emad Abdel Ghaffour, one of four permanent assistants to the president “We call for legislation or a resolution to criminalize contempt of Islam as a religion and it’s Prophet."

"The voice of reason in the West will prevail if there is mutual respect, dialogue and efficient lobbying for this critical resolution," he told Reuters in an interview. http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/09/22/us-protests-egypt-idUSBRE88L0B220120922

Leaders and their entourages from the 193-nation United Nations General Assembly descend on U.N. headquarters in New York for the world body's annual "general debate" from September 25-October 1.

Mursi will make his Assembly debut along with the new leaders of Libya, Yemen and Tunisia, countries where Islamist parties have moved to the heart of government. It is all taking shape, just as the bible speaks.

Why is Islam to be treated different than any other religion? Instead then we should have all religions included. But this is not what they want. They are using the UN by playing the victim so that no one can ever say a word about them. But what about what they say? When they claim Jesus is just a prophet this is offensive to Christians worldwide.

The President, Barack Obama has told us how he understands Islam because of his youth recently stood in front of the U.N. representatives, including Iran, and said:

"The Future Must Not Belong To Those Who Slander the Prophet of Islam."

This was again a reference to that infamous video (that so few have seen) being the cause of attacks against U.S. diplomatic facilities in Libya murdering our Ambassador (and the riots in Egypt and elsewhere). The administration continued to make the movie the cause of the jihad against us on Sept.11 until the real reason broke out in the news. Sum it up to bad intelligence, bad judgment or both. We have to live with it now.

Then whom does the future belong to? And what is the definition of slander: The expression of injurious, malicious statements about someone… To speak ill of in order to harm (American Dictionary). But what if the statements are true, historical and factual? Are these then excluded? I don’t think they should be.

What is our future? When will reality set in for those who ignore the shift that has taken place? Muslim Day Parade in New York City, (September 23, 2012) the NYPD is marching as ‘Allahu Akbar’ speeches call for making criticism of Islam an international crime, the flying of the al-Qaeda flag – IN NY! I seem to recall, that this city was attacked by those who claimed Islam…

Sheik Abdullah Bin Bayyah, a professor at King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia, and listed number 31 in a list of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world called upon “people of reason and understanding” to put a legal stop to statements that would offend Muslims and thereby threaten world peace. He said, “We request all religious and political authorities, as well as people of reason to join us in putting a stop to this futility that benefits no one.” (source: Don Boyd’s newsletter)

This is threat to world peace? Really. This sends a message: that those who believe in speaking freely, can do so except for one reason. Free speech is acceptable unless it is about Islam.

United Nations has promoted to enforce laws against the “defamation of religions.”

March 2011, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted a resolution by consensus entitled “Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of, and discrimination, incitement to violence and violence against persons based on religion or belief.” Resolution 16/18 ceases to provide cover for national blasphemy laws and charts a new course. The resolution omits any reference to “defamation of religions” and—in accordance with international standards—focuses on the protection of individuals, rather than the protection of abstract ideas and religions. Recognizing the positive role that the “open, constructive and respectful debate of ideas can play in combating religious hatred, incitement and violence,” it calls for “strengthened international efforts to promote tolerance and peace based on respect for human rights and the diversity of religions and beliefs.” http://www.humanrightsfirst.org/wp-content/uploads/Blasphemy_Cases.pdf

What you see is not what you get from the UN. The proposed U.N. resolution on "Defamation of Religions" will not prevent discrimination anyone. It will give Islamists who want to take away free speech a huge leap over the line that was once called freedom.

Shabbaz Bhatti, Pakistan's Minister for Minority Affairs was murdered for wanting to amend the nation's blasphemy laws. Prior to this Governor Salmaan Taseer, a defender of a Christian woman who were sentenced to death in Pakistan, accused of blasphemy, was assassinated by one of his own body, citing Islamic law as his justification.

Political and religious leaders in Nigeria continue an intense debate over the Islamic law of sharia, implemented by 12 of the country’s 36 states. 6 of 10 residents are Christians. Some Muslim politicians state the imposition of sharia is undemocratic. In the three years since states introduced sharia, over 100,000 Nigerians have suffered displacement and more than 3,000 have died in riots.

Recently- Boko Haram massacres 43 students in Nigeria http://www.shoebat.com/2012/10/03/muslims-in-nigeria-slaughter-43-people/

The examples of what Sharia imposes is everywhere to be seen. http://www.compassdirect.org/

What does this mean for American citizens, once called the land of the free home of the brave. We have reached a turning point, this is in large print for all to read. To criticize Islam is fast becoming not a legitimate exercise of free speech. Is it "Islamophobia," or is this a cultural jihad in America? When the First Amendment is amended by a religion whose reach is combined in culture, business and life, Sharia law will become dominant. And make no maitake that this is the intention of many working to change America from within.

We only need to look at the example of Dutch politician Geert Wilders. He has been fighting charges of "inciting hatred" by speaking out against Sharia law and other Islamic practices. Wilders' Freedom Party is the Netherlands' third largest political party in the nation's parliament. (see this article and more @: http://muslimsagainstsharia.blogspot.com/

There are Muslims who want to dictate their law over US countries laws, countries that are not Islamic. This removes the ability to speak on their actions and religion, not just in a condescending way but in any manner.

What of questioning Islam fairly, with facts. Islam always has lots to say about Jesus, the Bible and all the other religions. Do we become silent and they do not? Does free speech go to the one who is the loudest in protest?

There are those who still have the freedom to voice their own opinion by their independent convictions Why Islam Should NOT Be Protected Under the US Constitution!

It’s obvious that America is a country where there has been a choice to worship by the dictate of their own conscience. We are not a “one religion country,”(despite  many who claim we were founded on a single religion). Though one religion may be predominant not all are expected or forced to be of that religion. But there are countries that do have only one religion and want to see this be the only choice. Free choice in worship means FREEDOM. Freedom to think, speak and pursue ones own choices is a God given right to all humans; until it is taken away. This is why we have been told to be vigilant; it is a fragile concept that has been in the minority throughout world history. So when we look to the future there is more at stake than what we first see.
