Warm winds are blowing pt.1

It was the Christian Coalition had furthered an ecumenical agenda with Roman Catholics and other religions by trying to change the cold moral temperature of our culture. Little had been accomplished as the temperature of the culture continues to grow cold. The churches in America were adversely affected by the concept of unity for the purpose of a moral influence, which is also legislated by the laws in government, and a steady temperature of being lukewarm has resulted.

After ECT (Evangelicals and Catholics Together i.e.Chuck Colson), 40 million evangelicals did not need a document anymore to unite, just a nudge from their Charismatic leaders. Today we are watching a unity that is unprecedented led by Rick Warren, Joel Osteen, James Robison and Kenneth Copeland with many others.

The one who set the spark of this unity was an ignorant ecumenical man, Tony Palmer, who was as patsy. There’s always one slip up (there are a number of them) by a deceived man who deceives others and here is where we carefully look at what took place where it it all began –Kenneth Copeland church (which is on our DVD)

Tony Palmer delivered Pope Francis’ message to a meeting of Charismatic pastors and ministers. Anglican Bishop Tony Palmer, had it recorded on an iPhone. This video message was delivered to one of Palmers spiritual father’s, Word of Faith teacher, Kenneth Copeland, (whom Tony Palmer worked with) urging a reconciliation between Catholics and Charismatics.

Instead of the usual Jesus is Lord Emblem Copeland exhibits, the emblem of an eagle fighting or wrestling a dove is featured behind him, (the strong bird of prey eating the meek bird?). Intentional symbolism or not, it does make one pause as it certainly added to ambience of the message.

Palmer was a member of the Roman Catholic Ecumenical Delegation for Christian Unity and Reconciliation.

Tony Palmer was a Bishop within the Anglican Episcopal Communion of the Celtic Anglican Tradition also an official member of a Roman Catholic Ecumenical Delegation for Christian Unity and Reconciliation.  a co-founder and the spiritual Director of The Ark Community (www.thearkcommunity.org), an international Inter-denominational Convergent Christian Community, established in 2003.

They consider their Community to be part of the “Ancient-Future” Mathew 13:52– do we have a reference for where this expression comes from? Church, blending the old with the new.

The Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches (referred to as the CEEC) is also known as the "Convergence Movement", and sometimes referred to as the "Convergence of the Streams" renewal. This is the spiritual vision, rooted in the New Testament revelation and the experience of the early Christians, that saw the Church as one Body with many diverse and contributing parts. Or, to put it another way: one river with many streams http://www.ceeceurope.com/studio.html

In the video palmer snuck in being contemplative… why?

Because it states on his website: They are also Convergent

We acknowledge, celebrate and combine all the Christian Streams, blending them into ONE unified Christian experience. which are:

– Contemplative– Holiness– Charismatic– Social Justice– Evangelical– Sacramental & Liturgic

His testimony shows he learned his Christianity from Copeland and that he went to college 1993. He studied for 3 years at …Rhema Bible Training Centre, Kenneth Hagin’s school, father of the word faith movement. Copeland being Hagin’s disciple, this all begins to make sense.

He became the director for Copeland’s ministry in Africa in 1998. He said as he was speaking that he was planning on going to Italy since He and his wife prayed in 1992 and told God it must be through the Catholic church. This is all done in first year he apparently became a Christian. Why any Christian saved by the gospel pray this is beyond understanding.

Palmer says 6 years before working for Copeland he wanted to go to Rome. But he also said he was saved and within 2 years he worked as the director of the Kenneth Copeland Ministries' office in South Africa.

This makes it 4 years before he apparently was saved as a charismatic? Something does not add up here. He also never states he was a Protestant. You can be an Evangelical, Charismatic, word faith adherent as he claimed and not be a protestant. If you can’t protest the false teachings of the Roman Catholic church that has been held for centuries then you cannot know the truth from the Scripture. Apparently this is what led him to work for Copeland.

He is then called in 2003 to Rome and is working for the Catholic church to share his ministry “with the Roman Catholic renewal.” Copeland partners with him for support and Palmer begins his ecumenical ark community.

Kenneth Copeland fully supported him, even when he said he was going to go to Rome and be a priest. So this ecumenical endeavor has been in operation for a number of years and is now bringing forth their kind of fruit.

Bishop Palmer states in the video: It was back in 2006, I was asked to go down to Argentina to work with the Charismatic Catholics because they have quite a Charismatic revival going on within the Catholic church and has been for almost 50 years. So it’s protocol whenever we go into a diocese of another Bishop, we visit the Bishop, ask him if we can work in his diocese. That’s exactly how we met.

When he found out that my wife, being a charismatic Catholic herself, and our children, he thought it was quite entertaining. So he offered a friendship to me immediately. Here is this evangelical Anglican married to a Charismatic Catholic. [Laughter] So I said, “Look, we’re covering all the bases here.” [Laughter] So he offered me a friendship. Two years after that, 2008, I asked if he would be my mentor and a spiritual father to me, and our relationship just deepened from there. (source)

In the video Palmer also spoke of him and his wife being charismatic

When my wife saw that she could be Catholic, and Charismatic, and Evangelical, and Pentecostal, and it was absolutely accepted in the Catholic Church, she said that she would like to reconnect her roots with the Catholic culture.”

Palmer did not question this which makes any Biblically thinking person hesitate and wonder what is really taking place. Further into the video we find him saying “The Catholic and Charismatic Renewal is the hope of the Church.”

He mentions God orchestrated so many divine appointments like Joseph (which happens to be the illustration used by the Pope for himself)

As Dave Hunt pointed out some time ago “The charismatic movement provides another lane on the highway to Rome. Not only is there a close bond between Protestant and Catholic charismatics Catholic Charismatic Renewal has always been used as a road to Rome, not the opposite. Today it has become a 6 lane highway that is as busy as rush hour.

Palmer was a pawn of the Vatican’s agenda but the blame actually lies with Kenneth Copeland who supported him all along, who did not defend the gospel against what is clearly false; because he does not know the difference between truth or error when it comes to the gospel. (Remember Copeland is a man in conversation with Jesus who said He told him he could have gone to the cross if he had the knowledge Jesus had.” (Substitution and Identification 1989, audio tape #00-0202, side 2). Does the Pope know this or it doesn’t matter as long as there is unity. Does Copeland know that the Eucharist is Christ, or it doesn’t matter as long as there is unity? Nothing matters when unity is more important than what God has spoken.

Palmer was a member of the Roman Catholic Ecumenical Delegation for Christian Unity and Reconciliation officially supporting the Catholic Church's Ecumenical Movement. The Joint Declaration on the Doctrine of Justification document was approved by the Vatican under the auspices of the PCPCU Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity (linked with the Second Vatican Council). It is a Magisterial document, but not an ex cathedra statement, which does not make it open for reform or correction.

The ceremony took place in Augsburg, Germany, on October 31, 1999, Reformation Sunday—the anniversary of Martin Luther nailing his 95 theses of protest to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. What an insult.

In the video Tony Palmer not only declared that we are all Catholics now, but that Luther's protest is over [28:20 in the video]

"The protests have been over for 15 years." Palmer states, "If there is no more protest how can there be a Palmer says, "Maybe we are all Catholics again." [29:37] "We now preach the same gospel."

Which is a lie. Let me put it another way, if the Catholic church no longer believes what was once protested why don’t they join us. Why don’t they say they were wrong about the reformation.

The fact is, if we really agree, it would be the biggest news since we didn’t agree. But the actual news is, its still the same. Semper idem always the same

The charismatic movement has long been promoting a new ecumenism, the Protestant-Catholic "unity" which has Protestant charismatics overlooking the fundamental differences in doctrine and practice, (I realize some may not even know the differences).

The spirit of ecumenism has them embrace Roman Catholics as "brothers and sisters in the faith" because they claim to have been "baptized" in the Spirit," and "speak in tongues," without regard to their false doctrines and practices.

Charismatic Catholics who claimed to be “baptized in the Spirit” and speak in tongues had become more enthusiastic about praying to Mary and saints, the adoration of Christ in the Mass and the sacraments for salvation. These apparently spiritually gifted leaders on the Protestant side allow serious departures from Scripture to be practiced and accept this as the basis for the unity.

The charismatic movement was step to unite with Roman Catholicism ever since Catholics began to "speak in tongues." "Unity" was the principle platform the Roman Catholic Church was using to reverse the Reformation that continued any separation.

The cry for unity from the Roman church is being touted as "the great move of unity healing the reformation. Unknown to most it is forming a new world religion (Rev. 13:4, 8). As we watch this develop we need to guard others from participating and try to rescue those who already have compromised the true faith.

This Pope as he delivers a video from Palmers camera says:

his joy at their desire to worship together in prayer to the Father for the Spirit to come and his yearning for Christians to become one again.” “the fractures in Christianity are also fractures between individuals. He asks, “Who is to blame for this separation?” and answers, “We all share the blame. We have all sinned.”

Yes we have all sinned but what we have sinned is important to identify.

Protestants forget (or some do not know) thousands upon thousands were martyred in the reformation (and before) because they went against the Pope and the churches false teaching of transubstantiation, of indulgences, of salvation by sacraments. Nothing has changed.

Bishop Ryle, referring to Bloody Queen Mary's brief re-introduction of Catholicism into England resulted in the death by fire of 288 Christian leaders because they refused to accept Transubstantiation. Now what do we have?

The Pope went on to say that his desire is for this separation to end and a communion to begin again. That we can fulfill Jesus prayer for unity (as Palmer tried to prove).

Ignoring that the true Body of Christ is already spiritually one in Christ (1 Cor.12:13), which is what Jesus meant when he spoke this, as it is written in the Scripture.

All this is a typical Roman Catholic charade. Without the Pope speaking ex cathedra he cannot change canon law, "If anyone says that the sacraments of the New Law are not necessary for salvation but are superfluous, and that without them or without the desire of them men obtain from God through faith alone the grace of justification, though all are not necessary for each one, let him be anathema."( p. 52 -- Seventh Session, Sacraments in General, Canon 4)

Palmer was used as a patsy to make these pastors congregated under an undiscerning false charismatic teacher (who thinks he’s a little god). The Pope in his message never said we now all believe the same, he said he desired fellowship, That the “miracle of unity has begun.”

The Council of Trent statements have not been rescinded. “If any one saith, that by faith alone the impious is justified; in such wise as to mean, that nothing else is required to co-operate in order to the obtaining the grace of Justification, and that it is not in any way necessary, that he be prepared and disposed by the movement of his own will; let him be anathema.”

Pope Francis as far back as March 19, 2013, highlighted two themes, his joy at their desire to worship together in prayer to the Father for the Spirit to come and his yearning for Christians to become one again. To understand what he meant one only needs to go to the first sentence of his inaugural address as the new Jesuit Pope, he stated, “Dear Brothers and Sisters, I thank the Lord that I can celebrate this Holy Mass for the inauguration of my Petrine ministry.” Which means he will be as Peter is, whom the church is built upon, He will exercise that authority.

Copeland led himself and others into submission to a man who is thought to be the single leader of the whole Church in the world (which Palmer clearly portrayed in his message). The acceptance of the Roman Catholic Church as a Christian denomination by certain compromising Protestants has spread within evangelicalism with the help of Rick Warren who has endorsed the new book “Catholics Come Home” and Joel Osteen who is enamored by the Pope’s agenda of inclusivism and Beth Moore (from a vision) who illustrates on stage Catholics along with other denominations represented, that we are all the body of Christ.

Let’s get this straight so we understand what people are uniting with and what they are abandoning.

PART THREE LIFE IN CHRIST ARTICLE 2 GRACE AND JUSTIFICATION

1987 The grace of the Holy Spirit has the power to justify us, that is, to cleanse us from our sins and to communicate to us "the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ" and through Baptism:34

1992 Justification is conferred in Baptism, the sacrament of faith.

1999 The grace of Christ is the gratuitous gift that God makes to us of his own life, infused by the Holy Spirit into our soul to heal it of sin and to sanctify it. It is the sanctifying or deifying grace received in Baptism.48

Furthermore: "If anyone says that in the Roman Church, which is the mother and mistress of all churches, there is not the true doctrine concerning the sacrament of baptism, LET HIM BE ANATHEMA"

And this baptism is applied to babies who make no choice but are sprinkled to have their original sins removed. This what people are uniting with! Even faith and baptism are not sufficient for their salvation.  Baptism is only the first of the sacraments for gaining forgiveness.

This Pope is a man who has said, “There is no such thing as a Christian without the Church,… He is a man of the covenant, and we celebrate the covenant, every day” in the Mass: thus a Christian is “a woman, a man of the Eucharist”… (source) 2014-05-15 Vatican Radio). Think about what he is saying in light of the practice of worshipping the Eucharist, which is idolatry, making the bread into Jesus’ actual body on earth.

The actual truth is staring people in the face as books such as The Protestant's Dilemma by Catholic convert Devin Rose takes his reader on a dialectical journey, showing that the beliefs we share with our Protestant friends are only authoritative on ecclesiastical grounds that our Protestant friends reject. Rose provides a compelling case for the Catholic Faith

Copeland along with Brain Stiller World evangelical alliance, Thomas Shirmacker, John Arnott, James and Betty Robison, co-hosts of the Life Today television program, and Kenneth Copeland, co-host of Believer's Voice of Victory, met the Roman Pontiff at the Vatican.  The meeting lasted almost three hours and included a private luncheon with Pope Francis.

Mr. Robison told the Fort Worth Star Telegram, "This meeting was a miracle.... This is something God has done. God wants his arms around the world. And he wants Christians to put his arms around the world by working together."

Mr. Robison was giddily impressed by Pope Francis' humility and in a written statement, Robison said he believes "the prayers of earnest Christians helped lead to the choice of Pope Francis."  He described Jorge Mario Bergoglio, the Argentine Archbishop chosen as Pope, as "a humble man...filled with such love for the poor, downtrodden..." So is the Dalai Lama (who is considered a god) and other humanitarians who do not even believe in God.

The Roman Catholic Church has held to Theistic evolution. Many Catholics will attest to this. And considering the statements of this Pope it reinforces it. Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve” (“Pope Contradicts Genesis Account,” Christian News Network, Oct. 27, 2014).

Is this what Christians want to unite with? A man who is the single head of the church telling them that Genesis is not the truth?

Do we stand at a new place in history?

Wise was former head of the Communion’s office of Ecumenical Relationships before turning leadership over to Bishop Palmer who lives in England. The CEEC Palmer and Wise knew Archbishop Jose Marie Bergoglio as a friend before his election and becoming Pope Francis. Pope Francis was a spiritual father to Bishop Palmer.

Both Wise and Palmer were present in Bari, Italy when it was publically proclaimed that The tension between Catholics and Protestants positions was ended with the Vatican’s acceptance of Martin Luther’s doctrine of Justification by Faith

Six months after this proclamation at Copeland’s church, Palmer died in a motorcycle accident, but the path to unity that he began was fortified by others. The inclusiveness of Roman Catholicism has begun to attract others to this false religions Christianity. Men Like Kenneth Copeland who do not know their right from their left on Bible doctrine have led the charge of uniting with Rome. James Robison and Joel Osteen, Rick Warren (who calls Francis “our Pope”) and a host of other pseudo church leaders who lack doctrinal understanding are now fully deceived and have become leaders in this deception of unity which they think is forged of the Holy Spirit.
