Will Satan and the demons be reconciled?

There is a lot of nonsense circulating these days on what will take place in the future, some use the Scripture that says God will reconcile all things to mean, Satan and his demons will be included in this.

Col 1:19-23 “For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight-- if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister.”

Paul says God made peace through the blood of His cross. We are reconciled by believing in the death of Christ for our atonement for sin.

Rom 5:10 “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” Now we are priests who bring this message to others. 2 Cor. 5:20 “Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God.”

We do not bring this message of reconciliation to demons, nor is God going to offer them what we have through faith in what Christ did.

The Devil and all the fallen angels already believes in God but his belief is not a salvation faith but an acknowledgement that God exists, James 2:19 on there being one God. Even the demons believe-- and tremble!”

They should know since they were angels that once served him and saw him face to face.

There is no second chance for the angels that sinned. Their decision was an eternal one. More was required of them because of the principle that they had more revelation (this is why the Bible says teacher will receive a stricter judgment, and why Adam was blamed for eating the fruit of the tree.)

Isaiah 24:21-22, states that God is going to punish the high ones on high, the fallen angelic beings who will be put into prison. All demons will be confined forever.

Matt 25:41 They (people who also rebel) are cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

Then the last judgment comes after the Millennium, which brings them to their final destination:

Rev 20:10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

Rev 20:14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (This includes humans who rebelled).

Rev 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.”

Only those born by God’s spirit by believing in the gospel avoid this judgment. The angels that rebelled are confined in their decision, they are not written in the book of Life to have forgiveness. Those who deny these scriptures are denying God’s way to rid evil, of him blessing the Saints and more importantly are in unbelief of his word.
